1984 Mary Bridle, R.Y.T.,has studied
yoga with Betsy Downing, Sandra Pleasants, Joe Adlesic, and with senior Iyengar teachers on an ongoing basis. Over
the years yoga has become more and more important in her life.
The curative tradition in Iyengar yoga particularly interests
Mary, as she is an occupational therapist. Over the years she
has worked with people with a wide variety of conditions, both
physical and psychiatric, acute and chronic. Yoga was an important
part of her own recovery from cancer and helps her maintain her
health and strength. Mary enjoys teaching the Gentle Yoga class
at Blue Ridge Yoga and delights in seeing her students develop
new skills and discover new aspects of themselves. She takes much
pleasure in sharing the magic of yoga with others. |
