
To register and reserve a place
in a particular class, choose the class(es) in which you wish to
enroll
and fill out the registration form obtained below appropriately.
The registration/deposit amount is $30,
which is credited toward class payment.
The total cost for the Winter 2008 11-week session is $165 (one class per week).
Senior citizens 60 years of age or older, full-time high school or college students, and couples and family members receive a 10% discount
off tuition for regular classes.
Only one 10% discount per student is allowed.
Work/study and scholarship opportunities can be arranged through the office.
Late registrations are accepted on a prorated basis, space permitting.

Should you miss a class for which you are registered, you may make it up in any class on the schedule during the same session. You do not need to inform the office before doing a make-up class. We do not permit make-up credits
to be passed on to others.
Drop-in classes: We recommend that you have completed a course of Iyengar yoga equivalent to the class level that you wish to drop in on. The cost of a drop-in class is $17 per class, checks made out to Blue Ridge Yoga. If you are registered for at least one class per week, the drop-in fee for any additional classes is $15.

Refunds, minus the $30 registration fee, will only be given during the first three weeks of classes except in the case of a medical emergency.


Gentle yoga - for new or continuing students who, due to stiffness, lack of strength, or other limitations, would benefit from a
more slow paced, less rigorous class
Yoga for seniors - an introductory class for the young at heart.
Students will experience the benefits of more energy, freedom of
movement, positive outlook, and confidence.
Level I - introduces beginning students and students new to the Iyengar approach to the fundamentals of posture and breath.
Level I-II -
for both new students and those who have completed Level I. Also ideal for those with previous yoga experience who are
new to the Iyengar approach.
Level II - for students who have completed the introductory course. The basic poses are refined with an emphasis on all the standing poses. Inverted poses (headstand, plow, and shoulderstand) are introduced.
Level II-III - for students with previous Iyengar training who are strong in standing poses and can do headstand, shoulderstand and plow with confidence. Please consult with the instructor before enrolling.

Level I - affords those people who are seriously interested in working with
the breath an opportunity to move beyond the elementary levels that have
been incorporated into the regular asana classes.
Prerequisite: a minimum of one year of study
and practice of asana in the Iyengar method.
Level II and III - for students who have completed the preceding levels.
